Thomas loves walks so much I always take him outside now when he's fussy, and we've been enjoying nature, and meeting neighbors which is so fun, hence the un-posed and utterly joyous expression. . . Here is my adorable rascal learning about cooking. He says he prefers whole wheat flour, you can see him patting it with his little hand. OOPS! Mom, come join me, I love to put the books on the floor, they're so much easier to reach down here! Have you heard this tissue paper makes exciting rustling noises! When all is said and done Thomas is a little angel. A little puppy angel.

My darling man bought me flowers and chocolate to welcome me home! What a thoughtful and handsome husband I have! I can't believe how often he goes out of his way to make me smile in the midst of juggling textbooks, classes, and his job, not to mention the recruiting info sessions... Hurray for John! He studies hard everyday, helps around the house, and he is the best daddy in the whole wide world to Thomas who loves him so. I'm not changing this post even though I was logged in as John when I wrote it... :)

Whilst enjoying the 105+ degree heat, we had pancakes every morning, we had walking, and of course plenty of talking and just a bit of lounging.  No one was surprised to find Thomas has stolen the hearts of his Aunthannah, Aunt McKayla, and his grand- Aunt Wendy who put him to sleep at church.  His startlingly young Grandparents were also swept away by the Thomas Charm, so you can imagine how forlorn this left Daddy all by his lonesome.  We missed him, too!
