100 DAYS!

As I'm sure you well know because you have your own count-down-charts at home, today I have 100 days left until my expected due date of baby #2, known only as Bobbi. I figured the Bobbi needs his own post, which is why I am not mingling the loud boisterous post below with this one about my little unborn angel baby Bobbi. Bobbi is growing real hair, listening to our voices, kicking lots, hiccuping and is about 1 1/2 pounds. He is more easy going and non-confrontational than Thomas. He does not kick back with great force when one pokes in his general direction. Bobbi enjoys singing, sugary foods, naps with many pillows and being called Bobbi by his brother. He is excited about being born, but is also patient and willing to contain his joy for a later party. He is considering the virtues of celebrating Halloween this year. We shall see. As of yet there are 2 names being considered by 2 parents. However, there is only one Bobbi.

Smarty Pants

Today Thomas brought me a bowl of pink raspberry yogurt from the kitchen table with a spoon, and said, "peek." It took me a second to realize that he was refering to the yogurt color, and not defending himself for bringing mom's food into the living room. At the doctor's office I received an orange sheet of paper highlighting skills 24 month olds should have acquired. After perusing the list, I began gloating. Obviously my child is the most talented one I've ever had, or that's ever existed, they are practically the same thing. Afterall, he still has months ahead of him before he needs to have completed most of this list, and yet, he can do everything on it now. Beware grandparents, I will be sending you an 18 month milestone chart you can frame and hang on your wall. He scares Mom and Dad to death by walking down stairs without holding on. He scribbles on the walls and furniture. He displays defiant behavior. He screams when I leave him with less qualif...

July Soon to be August!

Dear July, You hold so much for me and yet I don't appreciate you. Your warmth exhausts and bores me, yet this winter I will miss you. I have spent my whole summer awaiting your arrival, and now you are like an old friend who stopped in for a minute while I was on the phone, cleaning the dishes, eating lunch, and listening to music and then you were gone and I wondered where did you go July? Next year I hope we get a chance to chat. Paige As many of you know, I went to California to see my brother when he came home from his mission and then my family came up here for my Great Uncle Don's funeral. It was nice to see my mom's cousins again. Lucinda is my favorite because she adores me. I don't even know why, but she is such a doll, always giggling and enjoying life. The next week John and I flew (with Thomas) to Sacramento and we spent the week with John's sisters and had an excellent time with all the kiddos together. It was great to see Thomas with his cousins! ...

Jana's Famous Give-Aways

Dear Blogging community, Today I read on "The Meanest Mom" blog that she (Jana) is giving away some coconut body shop products and I had to enter for my chance. Cross your fingers for me! And don't forget to check out one of my absolute favorite bloggers here. Well I have more summer blogging to catch up on so I will be back soon!

Summer Fashion 2009

Thomas began his summer wardrobe with a hat. And here's the view from the front... He ditched the hat for his cousin's pink polka dot shirt. Tired from his afternoon run he decided to lounge out like Kylie. Bored of the bouncer, he decided to chill in the boppy, which Kylie uses to help her sit up.
