As National Sewing Month wraps up the Wilson family has been singing, blogging, sewing, and visiting with family.  Read on for the latest. I read today that September is National Sewing Month.  Maybe that will inspire me.  Actually I think it will have no effect at all but I'm excited about my numerous sewing projects.  Unfortunately one is top-secret for my sister.  Boo because I love secrets but I want to post pictures and tell blogland all about it. Terra Cotta Pot. Look. Find. Found. Take two boys outside to find dirt to put in pot. Dig dirt with kitchen serving spoon. Put dirt in pot. Transplant grocery store basil into terra cotta pot. Terra Cotta Pot = fun to say 3X fast. Bring 2 boys and 1 pot back into the house and out onto the balcony. Clean off pot and stake basil. 2 boys, 2 popcicles each. Clean off balcony-porch. Pick up pot to move to other part of porch-balcony. Pot breaks in hand. Broken pieces of pot smash on the cement. Boy 1 screams. Sigh. Comfort Boy 1. Look around, and open storage unit. Wahlah! Plastic pot. Pick up plastic pot, smash pieces of pot into smaller pieces and fill bottom of plastic pot. Scoop up remaining dirt and pack in the poor abused basil plant. Observe Boy 2 contentedly looking on from patient popcicle eating. Abandon plastic bucket pot to the sunshine and go inside, wash walls, start dishwasher, feel pro...
