So UPDATE! I guess I wanted all-caps to make this post sound super exhilerating. Ultrasound today! It's a boy and he looks like John and Thomas so good things to come! He was even awake and kicking, so sports appear on the horizon. Got to check out his big heart, brain hemispheres, bladder, etc. His little fists were tightly together next to his head, isn't that sweet? Thomas played with some ducks and threw bread like it was going out of style. Can I say that? Anyhoo, he ran all over a huge lawn and thought it was the greatest thing. He got along great with my friend's son so it was a relaxing moment for me, and wonderful to catch up with an old friend! Okay, not that old, but it's been a couple months. She is going to have a baby in the next 7 days basically, so that's pretty big news. My favorite thing about trying to tell Tbird about his baby brother is to ask him where the baby is. So Thomas and I returned from California yesterday in time for me to go to Enrichment with some chocolate covered Pineapple and eat much yummy food. It was okay with John to let me go, since he's missed Thomas so badly. The house was completely immaculated. Including the closets. John spent the week decluttering, vacuuming, washing, picking up and organizing. Of course, what husband doesn't do all these things when his wife is away? Oh, and I forgot eating. The only things left in the fridge now are carrots, milk, and duck eggs, along with the condiments in the door shelves. I was sure that T bird reciprocated John's most tenderest feelings, but I must admit to having trouble tapping into them until he arrived to pick us up. Before he could get out of the car, Thomas was yelling, "Daddy!" T bird is learning to talk. It's the craziest thing, but very true. Thomas has finally learned to say boo after 16 months of peek-a-boo lessons!  Although it was my first word, there is only so much you can pass on directly to your children, sigh. The greatest accomplishment t bird is making each day is learning new words.  Yesterday he learned "off," and it was hilarious because the most important thing anyone could ever do in life, of course, is to take off a pen cap for fun over and over, and therefore, he needed to learn the word 'off' so I could cooperate before any screaming ensued.  We enjoyed this pasttime for several seconds before boredom crept into the room and we moved on to banging the keyboard and other lively activities. Tomorrow is the Nestle 5k and Thomas and I are gonna go for it together!  Woohoo!  I hope that I will have better luck than last year at winning something afterward.  Does that sound selfish?  But they have such great prizes and winning is so much fun!  I would love to win a little bike for Thomas.  He ...
