Today I drove down to central Utah and spent the day with family for my Grandpa's funeral. It was a beautiful day, with flowers, humorous stories, and friendly faces. Finally I am beginning to remember some of my Mom's cousins names and faces, as well as some of her Aunts and Uncles. I've decided that I like funerals because of the opportunity to share and learn more about the deceased person's whole life. The stories, experiences, and jokes that were shared helped me to appreciate the loving faithful man my Grandpa was and is and to remember and believe that he lives in Heaven and continues to live beyond this life.
