I was glad to see my grandparents this weekend putting flowers on headstones nearby. Thomas was really cute with Grandpa and sat in the car with him gabbing. It was really low key and informal but really nice. I learned (or relearned) a tiny bit. My grandpa that is buried down the street is my great grandma's dad. I didn't think any of my relatives here were like direct and for-realz relatives, shows you how much I know. And he had 15 children! He died in 1911, which comes as a great relief because that is why I don't remember him. I was thinking how can I not know him? So that is why we do geneology, right folks? We did the American BBQ tradition and everything, so good job John for lighting the coals and stuff...
