Do you scimp on lunch so you can indulge in dessert?

Do you think rebellious Easter Island teenagers tried to knock over the Easter Island heads for fun on weekends?  There seems to be a seismic connection to Easter Island teenagers and my little boy who's new favorite hobby is downing bar stools.  And going in for the tackle is the little guy, ladies and gentlemen the stool teeters . . .  it totters- it's down!  That's two for T bird and he's off, he doesn't even look back! I'm not going to lie, so far today I've thought it was Friday at least 10 times.  Then I had to remind myself of all my separate Thursday and Friday activities so I can reassure myself that Friday is yet to come.  I am saving laundry for Friday.   Although the weather is deceitfully windy, we managed to go grocery shopping a la stroller with crackers, string cheese and milk for company.  Fortunately, T bird found this quite satisfactory.  He is slumbering in an angel-like state as we speak . . . or whatever. I'm sad that my friends are...

Exercise and other Sins

Thomas and I went running/walking this morning with no one chasing us!  It was great.  Okay, it was painful but now I am so happy!   Also Mr. W and I are officially beginning our training for 100 consecutive push-ups on Monday!  If you would like to join us go ahead and check out the program at the site below. http://hundredpushups.com/ Peace out.

Thomas surveying his carnage . . .  Taken from Thomas' Journal.  February 24, 2009 Dear Thomas, This morning I realized that I am in desperate need of a shower, and that I should be sure to take it before going to the library.  And also that perhaps we could walk there and get incredible exercise.  Looking at you and realizing that you hadn't had a bath in oh-so-long, I hurried you in a dropped you beside your little foam letters you threw at Dad this morning during his shower.  While you splashed I serveyed the plethora of baby gadgets, toys, and the giant Nesquik bottle that you put in the bathtub last night, and Dad put on the floor this morning.  While drying you off I couldn't help looking at your long hair, and I decided to go for a little trim trim. Needless to say after a couple minutes I was sitting on the toilet seat, holding the Thomas-in-a-towel baby in my legs and trying to comb and snip.  Of course you were wiggle and wriggling to grab the cosmetic counter ite...
